Coming up with a different special each week can be a real challenge. Sometimes we plan ahead like a good little deli should and sometimes we get here on the Tuesday after a long weekend and just figure it out. We’ll let you decide which one happened this go around!
Luckily for us simplicity can be a beautiful thing. Sometimes we overly complicate things in life when the answer to perfection is right before our eyes. This week we decided to follow the “Keep It Simple Stupid” method in creating a mouth watering sandwich for you to enjoy.
We started by making a triple olive tapanade utilizing kalamata, green and black olives combined with lemon juice, olive oil and seasonings. Then we just had to figure out what this delectable spread needed to accompany it! We decided on our grilled chicken and provolone cheese on a hoagie roll. We thought it should probably be grilled and once we got it on the grill it cried out to be pressed. Thus the French Kiss was born. C’est magnifique!
